The thesis clarifies theoretical-linguistic foundations of the study of national culinary terminology; analyses the dynamic processes in Bukovinian culinary terminology, caused by extralinguistic factors; determines the changes in the system of Bukovinian culinary range, caused by intralinguistic factors; characterizes cognitive, ethno-linguistic and structural-semantic features of culinary terminology of Bukovinian patois; singles out basic motivational models and characterizes the methods of culinary nomenclature nomination; displays interlingual and intradialectal connections within national culinary nomenclature.
