Essay

The thesis is devoted to the research of theoretical and practical problems of constitutional law status of voters in Ukraine. Its concept as a complex law which is represented by all forms of direct democracy in which voters' expression of will is made up by the way of voting was formed. Its notion, content and structure which characterize it as a law category and the institute of constitutional law are studies; the criteria of their definition are given. Historical stages of the voters' institute of Ukraine establishment and development were analysed.
