Solomakhin A. Structure, functioning and development of astronomic terminology of the Ukrainian language (the second half of the XXth century - the beginning of the XXIst century)

The object is the Ukrainian astronomic terminology of the second half of the XXth - the beginning of the XXI centuries; the aim - to define the peculiar features of the system-structural organization, functioning and development of the Ukrainian astronomic terminology of the second half of the ХХth - the beginning of the ХХІst centuries; methods - comparable (for comparison of peculiar features of terms structure, and also the specific of their realization in lexico-semantic relations), contextual (for clarification of term unite value), component analysis (for thematic groups determination), quantitative cast (for the exposure of productive word-formation models and methods of word-formation); novelty - first the complex system-structural analysis of Ukrainian astronomic terminology of the second half of the XXth - the beginning of the XXI centuries is carried out in the Ukrainian linguistics, its lexico-semantic relations and productive methods of education are analyzed at the modern stage, the features of functioning and development of terms are found out in the corresponding knowledge area; results - the research materials can be used for composition of terminological dictionaries, development of the special courses in terminology, writing of textbooks and reference books in astronomy, and also at creation of manuals in the "The Ukrainian language (in specialty)" course for physicomathematical faculties; the field is linguistics.
