Fedorovych T. Urogenital mycoplasmosis: clinical, epidemiological and immunopathogenetic aspects, treatment optimization

The object of study - urogenital mycoplasmosis caused by M. genitalium. The purpose of research - improving the treatment efficiency of patients with urogenital infection with M. genitalium, by developing an complex method of therapy based on the study of disorders of cytokine profile and glutathione link of antioxidant system. Methods: epidemiological, clinical, immunological, biochemical, statistics. M. genitalium were detected in 14.9% of patients (in the form of monoinfection - 7,7 %, in combination with other sexually transmitted diseases - 7.2 %). The increase of interleukin-1beta, tumor necrosis factor - alpha and interferon-gamma levels and assessed the state of the glutathione antioxidant system were revealed. A complex method of therapy for the patients with M. genitalium was developed, on the base of the cytokines and glutathione antioxidant system disorders with the use of clarithromycin and glutoxim. The method allows to achieve a high level of clinical and etiological recovery (92,3 %). Results of the study are introduced into the practice of SE "Institute of Dermatology and Venereology of NAMS of Ukraine", MIHC "Regional Clinical Skin and Venerological Dispensary No. 1" (Kharkiv), MIHC "Kharkiv City Skin and Venerological Dispensary No. 1", MI "Zaporizhzhia Regional Skin and Venerological Clinical Dispensary" of Zaporizhzhia Regional Council, as well as in the pedagogical process of departments of educational institutions: dermatovenerology and HIV/AIDS of SE "Kharkiv Medical Academy of Postgraduate Education of MHC of Ukraine", family medicine with courses of dermatology and psychiatry of SE "Zaporizhzhia Medical Academy of Postgraduate Education of MHC of Ukraine".
