Essay

A comprehensive study of the processes of institutionalization and development of the network of art museums in Ukraine in late XIX - the first third of the twentieth century is held in this dissertation. The work of the museum staff which deals with acquisition of funds, accounting, research and conservation of museum objects, design of exhibitions, carrying out educational activities is also highlighted in this dissertation. The museum thought of the under study period is analyzed.
