The dissertation summarizes worldwide experience of the state-legal re-gulation of the alcoholic beverages turnover. Four basic models of such re-gulatory settlement are defined: 1. Non-interference of the state, often combined with certain stimulation of the producer and/or distributor of alcoholic beverages; 2. State regulation of private production and distribution of alcohol; 3. State monopoly for production and/or distribution of alcoholic beverages; 4. Dry law in more or less strict forms; the advantages and disadvantages of each of the models are determined.
