The work is aimed to develop a geometric modeling method to create a contour for the case of osculation of flat oriented objects with sectional nonlinear borders and its further application to optimize the placement of such objects in a rectangular area with variable length. The practical value of thesis results is approved by implementation of them in manufacturing of enterprise "Magnat" and educational process.
