Essay

The subject of this research is the interaction of the radio frequency of electromagnetic fields with a biological object. The aim is to improve the reliability of the patients' monitoring results during treatment by creating a method and implementation of contactless biomedical device for monitoring respiration and heartbeat as informative parameters during simultaneous researches. The theoretical results: the improved method of bioradar monitoring which, unlike the others, uses two components of the phase of the reflected biometric signal aimed at restoring a real movement trajectory of human chest; first obtained that dependence of the scattered field phase on the frequency for the electro-dynamical model is nonlinear, while the model for point diffuser is linear; the model of the electromagnetic fields interaction with biological object by means of using three-layer model of a layered structure of human chest is improved; first obtained that in the frequency range of 8.5-12 GHz tissue dielectric permeability is practically independent of the signal frequency, thereby creating a biomedical device for respiration and heartbeat monitoring of human being. The practical results are development of: the algorithm of respiration and heartbeat components obtained from the biometric signal; the biomedical monitoring device to determine the respiration and heartbeat frequencies; the research monitoring methodology for the cardiovascular and respiratory systems activity of human being. Extent of application - the results of the thesis are applied in the "Scientific Research Institute of Radio Systems" (Zhytomyr); in the educational process of the department of radio engineering, radio-electronic devices and telecommunications of Zhytomyr State Technological University. The domain (field) of application - medicine.
