An object of research is the scientific and pedagogical workers’ professional development in universities. The subject of the research is theoretical, methodical and applied problems of management of scientific and pedagogical workers’ professional development in universities. The purpose of work is development of new and improvement of existing theoretical and methodical principles in relation to a of scientific and pedagogical workers’ professional development as an important condition of providing of high competitiveness of universities at the market of educational services. The author uses general scientific and special methods of investigation, in particular, such as analysis, synthesis, induction and deduction, generalization and specification, classification, comparison, statistical and economic analysis, correlation and regression analysis, sociological questionnaire and interviews, expert estimations, graphic method.
