Bilonog A. Pension insurance as a source of investment in Ukraine

The theoretical principles and practical advices as for development of the pension insurance in the context of the investments attraction into economy of Ukraine have been specified in the dissertation. The author gave the interpretation of the pension insurance economical content as a social and economic system of the interacting infrastructure elements, pension relationship among the participants of the pension protection based on the insurance principles, the financial mechanism of the insurance pension funds formation, transformation of the accumulated pension assets into investments for the purpose of future insurance payment, in the case of insured accident or pension rights obtaining, including an investment premium. The trends, conflicts and major barriers to the development of the pension insurance in Ukraine in the context of the free financial resources transformation into investments through the mechanism of voluntary pension insurance have been specified in the dissertation. Correlation and interconnection of pension volumes in the private pension system and long-term investment resources have been jastified. It was established that investment policy and investment structure of the insurance company reserves effect the investment potential of the pension insurance. The ways of further development of pension insurance as a source of the national economy investments have been determined.
