Vysochanska M. Improvement of economic mechanism for sustainable use of in the western Polissya agricultural lands.

In the thesis investigated economic mechanisms for sustainable use of agricultural land. The definition of "economic mechanism sustainable use of agricultural lands" was offered by the author which proposed to consider as the whole structural and functional system between elements of the mechanism for effective land use. Sustainable land use is the normalization of the quality of land resources the growth of material and spiritual needs of the population and the optimal balance between economic and environmental performance. Scientific and methodological approaches to the formation of economic mechanism of the balanced use of agricultural lands are studied. Economic mechanism plays an important role both for economic goals of an enterprise and ecology. This mechanism is a set of instruments that are controlling the economic behavior of entities, directing them to carrying out resource saving measures, and by this reaching the ecologically and economically balance of production and good quality standards of agricultural lands. Therefore, this economic mechanism is a tool of the correlation between objective laws and subjective human activity. Economic and ecological mechanism of balanced ecology safe use of lands should include the system of measures, aimed at land improvement, increasing of soil fertility and preventing its degradation in order to create favorable conditions for economic activity. The study of dynamics of the modern lands' condition structure showed high rate of intensive use of agricultural lands, that caused erosion processes, as well as a tendency towards reducing the ratio of humus substances in the land. Ecological and economic analysis of the modern condition of agricultural lands allows to define the main directions to improve economic secure agricultural use of lands. Forecasting model of gross output till 2020 was developed and tested. The forecast of the model shows that the investments will grow gradually, and the use of organic fertilizers will be reduced gradually and stopped in 2018. The lands rent will be also gradually reduced and in 2018 will amount to 154.70 thds ha.
