The thesis is dedicated to investigation of spread of cryptosporidiosis in poultry on farms in Odessa and Kyiv regions, influence of Cryptosporidium spp. on the broiler chicken’s organism and development of prevention means. For the first time in Ukraine’s history it has been determined that cryptosporidiosis is the most common among chickens for meat and egg breeds and broiler chickens. Dependence of extensity and intensity of invasion depending on age and chicken breeding technologies has been established. The research of determination of ways and sources of invasion of chickens by cryptosporidiosis agents has been conducted. It has been established that cryptosporidiosis causes profound, pathomorphologic changes of the structure of cells, tissues and organs. Biochemical blood values of broiler chickens under the condition of experimental cryptosporidiosis have been investigated. Antiprotozoal effect of such drugs as Tolkoktsyd 2.5%, Baycox 2.5% and Amprolev in treatment of broiler chickens affected by cryptosporidiosis and their influence on biochemical blood values has been experimentally established. he effectiveness of the developed remedy in treatment of cryptosporidiosis in poultry has been determined. The remedy has a weaker immunosuppressive effect in comparison with Brovaform about which certify values of CIC and seromucoids.
