Object - adrenalin myocardial damage; purpose - o establish mechanisms of action of melatonin on damaged cholinergic regulation of adrenaline heart hormonoproduction depending on the activity of the gonads; methods - electrophysiological, biochemical, biological, morphometric, mathemetic; results - we found out that the lack of sexual hormones in conditions of gonadectomy decreases cardioprotective effect of melatonin; it is caused by increasing imballance in a system of pro/antioxidants on the basis of oppression of activity of pro/antioxidant protection, that provokes the increase of the degree of structural damage of myocardium by adrenalin, and the reduction of the participation of cholinergic link of ANS in regulation of heart rhytm; in terms of hormonal imbalance reaction of adrenaline damaged heart to the stimulation of the vagus nerve in less significant changes in the sensitivity of postsynaptic cholinergic receptors is significantly reduced and the ability of melatonin to change the activity of acetylcholine metabolism in the myocardium of the ventricles decreases; sex hormones replacement therapy helps to restore the ability of melatonin affect other activity of pro/antioxidant processes of ANS activity units and sensitivity of cholinergic receptors, metabolism of acetylcholine; male and female sensitivity to the effects is different, particularly in the metabolic level, it is more significant in females, and the functional - in males.
