Varyvoda A. Monuments of Ukrainian church embroidery XVII-XVIII centuries from the collection of the National Kyiv-Pechersk Historical and Cultural Reserve as an object of cultural heritage.

The dissertation is the first complex research of the XVII-XVIII century's monuments of church embroidery from the collection of the National Kyiv-Pechersk Historical and Cultural Reserve as an object of Ukrainian cultural heritage. Developmentof the Ukrainian church embroidery is examined in the historical and cultural context of the Baroque epoch. Theological factors that determined their content and artistic expression are considered. There are investigated the main typological groups of church embroidery piecesfrom the collection of the National Kyiv-Pechersk Historical and Cultural Preserveare in this work. Many of them areput to scientific use for the first time. Problems of museum preservation, attribution and displaying of the embroidered monuments are interpreted.
