Kravchenko N. Institutional investors in the government securities market

The dissertation is devoted to research of theoretical basis of government securities market and activity of institutional investors. Author has done the retrospective analysis of government securities market and estimated its current state. The types of financial institutions have been analyzed and only non-government pension funds, insurance companies and collective investment institutions are proved to be listed to institutional investors in Ukraine. The investment portfolios of non-state funds, insurance companies and collective investment institutions are studied and the role of government bonds is explained. The algorithm of calculating the capacity of the government securities market in Ukraine of institutional investors is defined. A multifactor mathematical model of investment attractiveness of government securities is offered. The prognostic assessment of government securities market developing is given using the indicators of investing the financial resources in government bonds by institutional investors.
