Hunda A. Civil Law Regulations of Relationships in the Sphere of Funeral Services

The dissertation thesis investigates civil law regulations between individuals while providing funeral services. A detailed analysis of the current regulatory framework in the field of funeral services is done and some theoretical aspects of the contractual regulation of such services are discussed. The researcher gives his own definition of the concept funeral services and identifies their characteristics. The concepts contract on provision of funeral services and contract on funeral services request are defined as well and their legal nature, subject and content are exposed. The author investigates the contract on provision of funeral services as a consumer contract. Thus, a complex research of theoretical and practical aspects of civil law protection of consumers according to the contract on provision of funeral services is held. The results of the dissertation can be used for improvement of law regulations of the relationships between individuals while providing funeral services in Ukraine, namely the draft Law of Ukraine "On Amendments to the Law of Ukraine "On the Burial and Funeral Rights".
