Zakutna I. Genre and stylistic evolution of Ukrainian historical novel in verses of the ХХth century

Object: historical novels in verses "Taras Triasylo" by V. Sosiura, "Rock" by I. Bahrianyi, "Marusia Churai" and "Berestechko" by L. Kostenko, "Slavic island" and "Pure field" by L. Horlach. Aim: research the evolution of Ukrainian historical novel in verses, devoted a systemic analysis of its genre, structural and stylistic originality, definition of traditional and innovative individual-authors and typological features of texts. Research methods: comparative-historical, method of analysis and synthesis, hermeneutical, structural and psychological. Results, novelty: devoted a systemic analysis of features of genre and stylistic evolution of Ukrainian historical novel in verses of the XXth century, the evolution of traditional and innovative features of artistic interpretation of historical events, personalities and fictional characters, national identity, mental psychotype, genre and structural parameters, ways and components of style; presented intertextual analysis of the defining aspects of the poetics of historical novels in verses of the XXth century, syncretism of artistic imagery of texts; examined capabilities art modeling of reality, creating a wide context of the novelistic world, defined genre and logical paradigms of totality texts and individual creative achievements, semantics of event-plot and associative-psychological constructs of works, the synthesis of epic and lyric, author's intentions in subject and outsubject forms, historiosophical chronotopos, enrichment of figurative-expressive arsenal with the application of hermeneutical and comparative research methods. Area of using: literary studies, lecture courses, specialized courses and seminars on the history of Ukrainian literature of the XXth century, elective classes of Ukrainian literature in gymnasiums and colleges of advanced study of humanitarian disciplines.
