In the thesis theoretical approaches for the interpretation the essence of the concept of "deposit insurance" are summarized. International experience of building deposit insurance systems is analyzed. The role of deposit insurance system in ensuring of the stability of the financial market is determinate. The current condition and trends of the national deposit insurance system are evaluated. Causality of the formation of deposit resources of individuals in Ukraine is investigated. The conformity assessment of Ukrainian deposit insurance system to the Key principles of effective deposit insurance systems is explored. Theoretical approaches of economic and mathematical modeling of assessment of the banks activity in the deposit insurance system in Ukraine are grounded. The scientific and methodical approach to the evaluation of the condition of deposit insurance system in Ukraine is developed. Prospects of the national deposit insurance system are investigated.
