Asymptotic theory of the processes of one- and two- electron charge ex-change involving the polar and homonuclear molecules has been developed. Within the framework of semiclassical approach the closed analytical expressions for matrix elements of one-electron exchange interaction of the multicharged ion with diatomic homonuclear and polar molecules as well as dipole- bounded anion have been obtained. On the basis of the Green’s function technique, the semiclassical type expression for asymptotics of the four-centre wave function of the quasimolecular electron has been constructed in the whole configuration space. Closed analytical expressions of the two-electron exchange interaction potential, defining charge exchange processes of the polar molecule on the multicharged ion and double-charged cation have been obtained. The partial and total cross sections of one-electron charge exchange of multicharged ions on homonuclear and polar molecules and resonance two-electron charge exchange in slow collisions of polar molecules with their own doubly charged cations have been calculated.
