Kostiuchko S. Optimization of elements of growing technology of sugar-beets in the conditions of the western Forest Steppe

Object of research - processes of formation sugar-beets productivity depending upon optimization of technology elements of sugar-beets growing in the conditions of the western Forest Steppe. The aim of the research is to study the peculiarities of yield capacity formation of sugar-beets hybrids in the conditions of the western Forest Steppe depending upon dates of sowing, elements of fertilization system, herbicides and fungicides application. Methods of research -field, chemical, visual, optical, quantitative, calculation-weight, calculation-comparative, disperse, correlational and regressional. In the thesis the influence of sugar-beet hybrids, dates of sowing, elements of fertilization system, schemes of herbicides and fungicides application on studying of phenological phases, field germination, plant density and their survival, leaves and tubers mass, indices of photosynthetic activity, yield capacity and sugariness of tubers in the conditions of the western Forest Steppe are presented. Correlation connections between yield capacity and sugariness and researched factors and models of yield capacity describing by regression equations are given. Energetic and economic assessment of technology models are carried out. The results of scientific researches were inspected and introduced on the area of 500 hectares, on the farm "Agro-Express- Service" Mlyniv district, Rivne region on the area of 500 hectares.
