The thesis is devoted to the complex research of the problems of the notaries' participation in civil proceedings. The historical and legal conditions of the modern model of the notary formation have been determined. The model has stipulated the specifics of the notaries' participation in civil proceedings, including the importance of the notarial activity results for the judicial proof process. The common features of notarial and judicial activities that contribute to the effectiveness of the interaction of notary and court in the administration of justice have been analysed.
