Object of research – the stress-strain state of elastic rough bodies that are under contact interaction. Subject of research – normal and tangential contact stresses, the size and shape contact zones, adhesion and slippage zones. The aim of research – to develop an algorithm for solving static problems of rough contact interaction of elastic bodies. Methods – the method of boundary nonlinear integral equations using linear operators influence of surface stress on the surface displacement bodies; boundary element method; methods of approximate calculation of integrals; iterative methods for solving systems of scalar equations with many unknowns; methods of nonlinear functional analysis and the theory of fixed points of operators. The method of solving static contact problems for elastic bodies and found rough as consideration roughness affects the distribution of contact stresses these problems has been developed. Scope of use: mechanical engineering.
