Object of research – mathematical models for calculating the sandwich plates and shells in boundary value problems and problems of stability. Subject of research – based on mathematical models of nonlinear energy functionals and systems of nonlinear differential equations of equilibrium round sandwich plates and cylindrical shells of physically nonlinear by H. Kauderer filler. The aim of research – development of mathematical models determining critical loads and stress-strain state round sandwich plates and cylindrical shells with nonlinear elastic by H. Kauderer filler material and the development of methods for solving boundary problems and stability problems for these items. Methods – methods based on the use of elasticity equations and using hypotheses regarding the distribution component of stress-strain state; small physical parameter method; transformation method of nonlinear differential equations with variable coefficients; Ritz method; collocation method; method of minimizing nonlinear functional. It is obteined mathematical models for calculating the sandwich plates and shells in boundary value problems and problems of stability. Scope - enginireeng.
