The dissertation is devoted criminological characterization and identify prevent grave neglect for child care or by the person under guardianship or trusteeship. The analysis of quantitative and qualitative indicators of this type of crime, found the main factors of latency, general criminological drawn portrait of the person who commits willful neglect on child care. The basic factors of determination of the crime on the basis of which offered a set of general, special-criminological and individual prevention measures. Suggestions to improve existing criminal laws.
