The thesis reveals the theoretical background of economic policy of the integrated development of the region as a significant element in mechanisms of public administration in regional development. We developed the theoretical and methodological, as well as practical bases for development and implementation of economic policy of the integrated regional development through the state regional policy coordination in specific regional conditions. Definition and rationale for the content of economic policy for the integrated development of the region are provided.
