Dissertation for the degree of Ph.D., specialty 05.17.07 - Chemical technology of fuels and lubricants. - National Aviation University, Kyiv, 2016. The dissertation is devoted to development of a new class of high-temperature multifunctional greases, which are based on renewable natural resources. It is synthesized overbased calcium carbonate - a highly efficient thickener of oleogreases, which are characterized by balanced volume-mechanical, antioxidant, tribological and protective properties, as well as an increased level of environmental safety by carbonation in a medium petroleum oil, hydrocarbon solvent and promoter in the presence of the carboxylic acids, oils or animal fats. The influence of prescription and technological factors on properties of oleogreases is studied and optimal technology of their receipt is worked out. The results of comparative tests of oleogreases' properties and commodity sulfonate complex grease demonstrate the high quality of the developed products. The results of researches became scientific basis for creation of domestic, multipurpose, competitive ecologically safe and cheap high-temperature greases for the knots of friction, which are exploited in the stringent conditions. A technological map and technical conditions on grease Oleogrease are designed. A pilot batch of new grease was produced and its tests were conducted in the friction units of industrial equipment. Keywords: oleogreases, high-temperature, synthesis, calcium carbonate, calcite, fatty acids, oils, animal fats, properties, surface friction.
