Essay

Analyzing the revolutions of modern type the author followed up modern approaches to definition of revolution. Theoretical changes, caused by the latest social events of the end of 20 – beginning of 21 centuries, when large scale revolutions were replaced by soft, short-term, and diverse revolutions, have been taken into consideration.  The situation in Ukraine on the eve of Orange Revolution and Revolution of Dignity as well as their distinctive features and outcomes has been analyzed.
