Essay

In this study we provided description of the criminal and legal grounds of illegal possession of vehicles (article 289 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). Established quantitative and qualitative indicators unlawful taking of vehicles. We provided criminological characteristic of the criminal who commits illegal possession of vehicles. Detected, analyzed and explained the complex factors of determination illegal possession of vehicles. Established a system of measures to prevent illegal possession of vehicles.
