Essay

In the thesis for the first time link between the biochemical processes involved in carcinogenesis and hormonal condition of patients with breast cancer depending on age criteria has been determined. The expediency of implementation of complex biochemical, immunohistochemical parameters of patients' tumor and serum was proved experimentally which will clarify the diagnosis and prognosis of disease. The nutritional impact of synthetic estrogen to the potential development of breast cancer was investigated: in the model experiment the effect of hormonal triggers on the condition proteolysis, antioxidant and prooxidant systems, the cholinergic neurotransmitter system in the tissues of the experimental rats in vitro and in vivo has been studied. It was established that the severity of the effects had been higher in females in puberty compared to sexually mature rats, as in experiments in vitro, as in vivo, which indicates the existence of specific age-related physiological conditions defined high sensitivity to exogenous estrogen-like compounds.
