Essay

The dissertation contains a complex of studies that have established the main regularities of processes of water treating from nitrates by low pressure reverse osmosis and deep concentrating by electrodialysis. It was established that the low-pressure reverse osmosis membrane TFC-75F shows high efficiency of nitrate removal from water. For the first time the conditions were defined under which this membrane can purify water from nitrates to 5 mg/dm3, which is significantly less than MCL of these ions in drinking water. The expediency of using electrodialysis for water treatment from nitrates with their deep concentration as the salts KNO3 and NH4NO3 was shown. Was elaborated the method and block diagram of the processing nitrate containing natural water by low pressure reverse osmosis and electrodialysis to obtain drinking water and valuable fertilizers.
