Essay

A numerical scheme to solve the problems on nonstationary thermal elastoplastic deformation of spatial bodies according to the theory of nonisothermal plastic flow using the method of intermediate point in order to determine the finite increments of components of plastic deformation and taking into account the dependence of mechanical and thermal characteristics on temperature, is developed. Linearization of the problems of nonlinear thermal conductivity and thermal elastoplasticity is realized by Newton - Raphson method. To solve the obtained linearized problems the finite element method is used. With the help of this scheme the numerical solutions of the problems on thermal elastoplastic axially symmetric deformation of a solid cylinder and a body composed of a washer and a pipe and the problems of thermal elasticity and thermal elastoplasticity for a cylindrical body under mobile heat load are obtained.
