The dissertation is devoted to the problem of mental health development of primary school pupils by fairytale therapy means. The peculiarities of manifestation, levels and dynamics of structural components of primary school pupils' mental health during their studying at primary school have been empirically determined, and the predominance of medium and low levels has been noted. The model of mental health development of primary school pupils has been created, which includes the work of a school psychologist, teachers and parents with pupils by fairytale therapy means. The efficacy of preventive and developing work on mental health development of primary school pupils by fairytale therapy means has been proved.
