Lutska H. Formation Ukrainian juridical thought in the Shevchenko's Scientific Society in the late XIX - early XX century.

Dissertation is devoted to the peculiarities of formation and development of juridical thought in the Shevchenko's Scientific Society (SSS) at the end of XIX - early XX century in the limits of its juridical commission. The thesis made a number of new provisions, conclusions and recommendations, in particular: the conclusion that the burden of organizational forms was a fundamentally new type of Ukrainian scientific public institutions on the territory of the Austro-Hungarian Empire and the Russian Empire, created a unique scientific centre of Lawyers - juridical commission of historical and philosophical sections of society; it proved that the juridical commission of the society in the study period was quite a powerful centre of qualified lawyers who encouraged and provided the development of knowledge in the leading branches of juridical science and contributed to the formation of the leading Western academic law schools; studied the history of creation, the structure of the juridical commission of society, systematized the main scientific work of members of the juridical commission of society, depending on the directions of research; reasonably scientific and educational, scientific and practical significance of the heritage of juridical scholars of society and close relationship of their scientific ideas and concepts with a modern juridical science.
