Essay

The thesis is a new solution of actual problems of modern obstetrics and gynecology - the treatment optimization of women with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS). The work is devoted to study the clinical course features, hormonal, carbohydrate, lipid and adipotokine homeostasis, morphological structure of ovaries in women with PCOS according to constitutional types. Based on the identified features differentiated pathogenetic treatment system of various options of PCOS has been developed and proved, providing more manifested and prolonged menstrual function normalization, symptomatic reduction and clinical hormonal parameters improvement.
