The thesis is dedicated to the problem of forming professionally oriented competence in English dialogue speech for future specialists in international economics on the materials of business telephone conversations. Psycholinguistic, linguistic and socio-cultural features of learning English dialogue speech on the materials of business telephone conversations are described. The concept of “professionally oriented competence” in English dialogue speech is defined as well as its main structural components: formally logical, pragmatic, subject, psychological, sociolinguistic and linguistic.
