Tatarin A. Radiofrequency ablation in treatment of patients with varicose veins of the lower extremities.

Object - varicose veins of the lower extremities (VVLO); goal – improve the results of surgical treatment of varicose veins of the lower extremities by implementing the method of radiofrequency ablation (RFA); methods – determine the feasibility of using ultrasound duplex scanning of the venous system, as the main method in determining the indications for RFA; proven different of pathological state of vein walls patients varicose veins after endovenous laser coagulation and RFA, which should be considered when planning surgery, postoperative care, and predicting possible complications; studied the effectiveness of RFA as a new method of endovascular treatment VVLO; It developed and implemented a new way of optimization of endovascular interventions in patients with VVLO with chronic venous insufficiency C4; it defined the scope of minimally invasive surgery at VBI in stage C4-C6 of the CEAP with defeat safeniy veins; proposed a differentiated approach to the choice of the method of endovascular treatment of VVLO; a dynamic assessment of quality of life with the help of the international standardized questionnaire CIVIQ-2 in patients after RFA lower limbs; branch – medicine.
