In this paper, the issue of historical development of rules on liability for violation of the procedure of transfer of the children to the care of other persons is considered, the issue of the relevant investigated norms to the principles and grounds for criminalization is analyzed, the criminal-legal characteristics of the objective and subjective elements of crimes provided for in Articles 168 and 169 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine is held, the forms of criminal liability for such crimes are characterized.
