Rybak I. The Influence of information and manipulative technologies on the process of legitimation of political power in Ukraine

The dissertation presents a comprehensive political research of the impact of information and manipulative technologies on process of legitimation of political power in Ukraine. It was proved, that political information and mass media, implementing the information and manipulative technologies are key determinants of political legitimation/delegitimation, that provide designing their virtual information and communication space for manipulative influence on the political consciousness and, as consequently, the citizens' political behavior.Their active intervention leads to the mediatization of political legitimation/delegitimation in Ukraine and devaluation of traditional mechanisms of political legitimation, for example, legitimation of a certain ideological platform, values, the transparent electoral legitimation of effective political programs of development, reforms and so on.
