Moklyak O. Linguo-pragmatic characteristics of Ukrainian affectonyms

Object: affectonyms taken from the Ukrainian literature, epistolary and current spoken language. Aim: to ascertain the linguistic specificity of affectonyms and communicative-pragmatic use of their features. Methods: descriptive; component analysis; elements of interpretive-text and discourse analysis, sociolinguistic analysis; receiving questionnaires and quantitative calculations. Scientific novelty: for the first time lexical-semantic range of metaphorical and analogical affectonyms were defined, with the intensyfiers of their illocutionary force and perlocutive nature. Practical value: the ability to be used during the teaching of communicative linguistics, pragmatics and linguistics, culture of speech, stylistics, general linguistics, in lexicographical activity - for developing the dictionary of Ukrainian affectonyms.
