Andrusenko O. Surgical tactics in patients with acute bleeding colorectal cancer

The study is based on data from a survey and analysis of the immediate results of treatment of 241 patients with acute bleedingcolorectal cancer for the period 2003-2014.Prehospital symptomsanalyzed, conducted a comparative assessment of the severity of bleeding, depending on the location, morphological and histological characteristics of the tumor and the influence of stromal-vascular factor on the course of bleeding. Developed and introduced into clinical practice algorithm surgical tactics in terms of emergency assistance.Operations were 105(43.6%) patients, including 88 (83.8%) radical, non-radical - 17(16.2%); as a matter of urgency operatively 8(7.6%), in the delayed early period - 97(92.4%). Application algorithm increased the number of surgeries performed in the early period of deferred 86.4% to 100%, increase surgical activity from 39.9% to 49.5%, the number of radical operations from 79.7% to 89.1%, reduce overall mortality from 10.1% to 5.4%, postoperative - from 6.8% to 0, complications after operations from 18.6% to 4.3%.
