The thesis is devoted to improving the control system for delivery of cargoes by rail. For the first time were proposed the set-theoretic model of control over the delivery of cargo and the method of control and time points for cargo delivery process modeling and monitoring schedules delivery. The work has developed the system of quality criteria for implementation of time schedule for cargo delivery by rail. Have got further development the methodological approach to improving the delivery process by implementing the projected schedule of trains and analysis methods for cargo delivery schedule for the establishment of generalized causes the resulting delays. The results introduced in transportation and training process for railway transport. The work consists of introduction, four chapters, general conclusions, list of references and appendixes.
