The dissertation is devoted to generalization and development of theoretical and methodological approaches to the economic justification for the rational usage of deposit reserves of iron-ore raw materials. Ecological and economic foundations of rational usage of ore reserves by mining and concentration complexes are identified. Scientific understandings about cause-and-effect relationship of factors and ecoeconomic results of exploitation of iron-ore deposit are developed. The theoretical and methodical approach of environmental and economic evaluation of alternative formulation of enrichment ore flows in open pit is improved. The scientific and methodological foundations of ore losses management during on a phased basis mine development in deposit and approach of the economic substantiation of reasonability for involvement into exploitation of ore reserves are improved. Methodical approach to planning of acceptable level of ore losses in the bowels during open method of deposit development.
