Prykhidko R. SClinical diagnostic and prognostic significance of regulatory components of innate immunity (TLR–2,4) in the development of inflammatory complications in patients with acute intraabdominal pathology.

Object - postoperative pyo-inflammatory complications (PIC) in patients operated on for acute intra-abdominal pathology (AIAP); goal – improve the results of surgical treatment of patients with AIAP by providing a method for the prediction and prevention PIC by correcting regulatory components (TLR-2, 4) of innate immunity; methods – clinical, laboratory, instrumental, microbiological, statistics; results – defined criteria for high risk of PIC obtained by expression of TLR research about AIAP; proved the feasibility of determining the expression of TLR-4 and the dynamics of these data on blood mononuclear cells at AIAP and their predictive value in the postoperative development of PIC, the first day after the primary surgery for AIAP, and the revaluation on the fourth day; refined scientific data on the feasibility of monitoring the number of SIRS signs to predict the occurrence of PIC at AIAP; the first time was developed method predicting postoperative PIC at AIAP based on the expression of TLR-4 of blood mononuclear cells of patients; the first time was developed an algorithm of preventive measures on the basis of the degree of risk for patients with AIAP; branch – medicine.
