Essay

The conducted hygienic, epidemiological and medico-social studies made it possible to reveal causes and rates of cancer hazard at work place in specialized services and among occupational groups, engaged in the healthcare industry. Epidemiological regularities have been found on occurrence of cancer among medical workers. The part of occupational and non occupational risk factors in development of cancer among workers of the medical sector have been established. The system of prophylactics measures directed at prevention of work-related cancer among workers of the health branch has been defined, based on approaches to the system of cancer risk management.
