Essay

The research object - signal processing in the radiometric systems for imaging of incoherent radiation sources. The research goal - development of methods, algorithms and structural schemes of radiometric systems for 3D-mapping of spatially extended objects with high spatial resolution. Research methods - methods of mathematical statistics, computer modeling and data processing. Practical value - synthesized methods of ultra-wideband signals processing for 3D-mapping of spatially extended objects can be used for development of structural schemes of high-precision radiometric 3D-mapping systems. Novelty - new 3D imaging methods are proposed in ultra-wideband passive radiometric systems; the methods of optimal detection of spatially extended objects elements in a predetermined range of distances are improved; the method for 3D-mapping of spatially extended objects is synthesized and investigated for the first time in the multi-antenna ultra-wideband radiometric systems; the method for 3D-mapping of spatially extended objects is improved in radiometric systems with antenna arrays. Level of integration - industrial. Area of using - data processing in radio engineering systems.
