Essay

Founded the differences between Canada's approach to the representation of their interests in Europe in the economic and political sphere and emphasized the interdependent nature of their historical context. It was found that the dominant factor updating the European direction of Canadian foreign policy in different periods was a desire to counterbalance US economic influence and the desire to avoid a possible "isolation" in transatlantic relations. It was determined that the dynamics of economic interaction between Canada and the European Union is subject to the prospects of obtaining or losing this country access to the EU internal market.
