The thesis deals with comprehensive scientific research of theoretical and practical aspects of religious influence on forming of law supremacy principle. The retrospective analysis of religious influence on the process of forming of different branches of law is carried out. The correlation of law and religion in Christian legal tradition during post-secular period is exposed.From the positions of state and law theory, theoretical and methodological fundamentals are analyzed concerning legal regulation of relations in the religious sphere of social life and the place of religious norms in state legal system is determined. The interaction between state, society and church during the period of civil state development is examined.
