Essay

Thesis is devoted the solving of important scientific task as to determine the distribution and harmfulness of broomrape, its racial composition and development of protection measures for sunflower from this parasite under conditions of northern Steppe of Ukraine. A new means of sunflower protection from broomrape through the provocation of germination of parasite seeds in soil as a reaction on the root secretion of corn is worked out.
