Essay

Dissertation is devoted to complex hygienic estimation of radiation situation in the territory of the Zaporizhzhya region. The doses of the irradiation of the population from natural radiation sources were examined by the dietary intake and radiological procedures; priority factors of the irradiation were found. First-priority procedures of the optimization and the improvement of the methodology for radiohygienic monitoring were evidence-based. For the first time on the territory of the Zaporizhzhya region the levels of radon-222 in the air of the rooms of kindergartens were examined, the doses of irradiation for children were evaluated, as they were critical group about radon influence; dependence of the doses from the influence of different factors was analyzed. The ways of decreasing the dose load for children were evidence-based, the necessity of introduction of antiradon measures complex for every building of kindergartens depending on the level of maintenance and ways of entry of radon-222 was proved.
