Lehka L. The System of Verb Accentuation in Lesia Ukrainka’s Poetic Texts (as compared with that period and present-day norms)

Object: verbs in Lesia Ukrainka's poetic texts. Objective: to research the accentual system of verbs in Lesia Ukrainka's poetry. Methods: descriptive, comparative historical, contrastive, elements of the quantitative analysis for the determination of the frequency of accent usage, variant accentuation of verbs. Scientific novelty: the first comprehensive analysis of verb accentuation in Lesia Ukrainka's poetic texts. Practical value: can be applied in compiling the pronunciation dictionary of the Ukrainian literary language and teaching "Stylistics of the Ukrainian language", "History of the Ukrainian language", "Modern Ukrainian literary language".
